Coffee, cinnamon bun, bbq pork....
Around noon we headed to The Mall - Bangkapi. It was time to get a mani/pedi and Bruce was overdo for a massage.
I had to go to a different place for the nail art and the result is below average. Total cost for all- $600 baht.
Bruce says he had the best massage so far since we have been in Asia... Cost $350 and he gave him a $200 baht tip.
While he waited for me he went to Krispy Kreme donuts and bought a Red Velvet one, a chocolate one, and a peanut butter glazed one. While waiting for Dainty's call we had an iced coffee.
Dainty called and we took a taxi to the hospital which is where she was with Ahya. Then he continued to Halo Halo.
First, Bruce ordered two Mexican hotdogs. I ordered a taco.
Halo Halo is a Filipino treat- shaved ice, with ice cream, corn, red beans, jelly, crunchy flakes, coconut, milk and custard.... It means mixed. So you mix it all together and eat it. I ordered a super one ( one scoop of ice cream and all the toppings) It is interesting!
Then we came home... Right past IKEA .
We also went down a street that had gorgeous sculptures on the boulevard.
It is rush hour, so the songtaews are packed....
This one has a zillion speakers in the back
We got home and watched the movie 'Grownups' and played a couple games of cards.
Dainty's back up camera at work
Chi Chi excited we are home
