Friday, January 23. Part 3

We arrived back at the condo.  Rested a bit and then headed down to the pool.  Met a lady who lives just outside London and had a nice visit.  They have been coming here for 5 yrs.

Then we changed and headed to the store where people paint pottery elephants and then they are sold.  Proceeds go to preserving elephants and their habitats.

Then we walked by the river and found a place for dinner.  The place called Regina is also a guesthouse.  All the tables are old sewing cabinets.

Dinner consisted of: chicken and cashews, crispy pork and kale, pork and basil, and pineapple fried rice.  And of course a couple of beers. Total $515 ($20).

Then we took a tuk tuk to the Night Market.
It was early for the market, many stalls not open so we opted for a Thai massage. We had a Foot massage followed by a full Thai massage for $8, he was awesome.

Then we walked around and shopped a little.  My fav purchase are earrings made out of the Thai water beetle.
