Saturday, Jan 24 final post

As I was reading online I came across a site talking about the various markets. It said that the Saturday night street market is very popular. So around 6:30 we headed out to find a tuk tuk. We arrived and wow what a lot of people. There was great shopping and eating. We found our fav baby pineapple and then Bruce found peppered chicken skewer and then pot stickers.  We had found an omelette stuffed with bean sprouts that looked awesome as well as bacon wrapped around enoki mushrooms.

I found a nice scarf/wrap for the loveseat.  I also found a little change purse as well as some awesome earrings made from real butterfly wings.  Gorgeous! We also found another wat.... Love the changing lights. We also paid $50 baht for good luck by releasing two little birds.

We found a painting that we liked but decided to go back to the Night Market and look at it again....we bought it for $2700 bought.

Great pic taking opportunity as we walked trying to find a go go bar. No luck! But we did find a bar with two interesting Aussies.  The one guy has published 30 books- Roland Perry, very friendly.

We headed home around 10:30 as we have a full day tour tomorrow.
