Dainty and I were up early! She wanted to be at the food market around 7:30.

Hua Hin is the only place that grows a particular banana that is her fav. They also have a certain dried fish that is similar to a kind she likes from the Philippines.

The bananas on the back of this bike are getting dried by the sun.

You know it is early when you meet several monks collecting their alms.

The national anthem started playing over a loudspeaker- note the Thais stop what they are doing and stand at attention.

The Songkran shirts are beginning to show up at all the markets. Songkran is the beginning of the hot season. So Songkran is the water festival.

Iced coffee

It comes in a plastic bag, tied with an elastic band, then in a paper bag, then in a plastic bag with handles for you to carry it. All for $20 baht, less than $1

We came home to Bruce frying bacon and making eggs. Dainty had brought cinnamon buns from Cinnaboni....

Yep, fake Cinnabon. Dainty says they even have fake bananas....

Breakfast

After breakfast everyone went for a beach walk, except me. I stayed behind to shower, pack and get organized.

Soon it was time to check out.

We,stopped for a break.. Dainty bought these bananas... So good

Then we stopped for KFC - Bruce has been craving .... And for ice cream.

The KFC comes with the same amount of chili packages as ketchup

I,always wondered how people here get ho,e without their ice cream melting. Today I found out. Before the girl packed our ice cream she added a few handfuls of dry ice to the bag.
